Friends of Puerto Rico invests in opportunities and partnerships that result in educational, cultural, health, and development programs to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and leaders in Puerto Rico. Since our beginning in 2015, we have served as a bridge to over 50 nonprofit organizations in Puerto Rico. In three years, we have created a network of over 30,000 donors. In March of 2019, we launched our social enterprise that consists of a social impact coffee, Café Ama, which is ethically grown and freshly packed at source in Puerto Rico by a local family business. Friends of Puerto Rico is headquartered in the historic neighborhood of Georgetown.
The Development Coordinator will report directly to the President and assist in all matters related to fundraising and relationship management. The Development Coordinator will also assist in promotion, and administration of all development activities of Friends of Puerto Rico, including individual giving, corporate and foundation support, fundraising events, and grants.

We are located in the heart of historic Georgetown. We host events throughout Washington, D.C. and other states, affording you the opportunity to grow your network of mentors and sponsors, which is essential to your professional development.
You will have the opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico. In addition, there is a likelihood that you will have the opportunity to travel with our President to other cities.
